The Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation is a shared space where faculty and staff unite to explore best practices, scholarship, and excellence in teaching and learning to promote student success and transformational impact.

You may earn micro-credentials for professional development and presentations, and certifications in higher education that can lead to graduate degrees. See the CTLI's Digital Badges page for earning criteria for the 2024-2025 Professional Development E-Badges.

Faculty going through onboarding

Onboarding and Training

CTLI initiates and coordinates onboarding for new faculty and provides mentor matching.  Campus-wide Lead Faculty Mentors are here to assist new and any faculty who could use their assistance. The CTLI also provides faculty and staff training on Fairmont State University supported technologies. In addition, the CTLI is building its resource repository with resources created at Fairmont State University to better serve faculty and staff.
