Kids Can Enter Punt, Pass & Kick Competition
Young pro football fans will have the opportunity to exhibit their football skills
when the Fairmont State University Department of Intramurals hosts an NFL Pepsi Punt,
Pass & Kick Competition on Saturday, Sept. 23.
The competition is free and open to boys and girls ages 8-15. The event will be held
at 10 a.m. Sept. 23 at the softball/practice field on the main FSU campus. For competition

also obtain entry forms by visiting the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick website.
The NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick football competition allows youth to showcase their
talent in punting, passing and kicking with scores based on distance and accuracy.
The age groups for the Fairmont competition will be 8-9, 10-11, 12-13 and 14-15.
(Participants will be put into age groups based on the age they are on the day of
the event.) Boys and girls will compete separately. The top male and female finishers
from each age group at the local competition will advance to a sectional competition.
The top five first place scorers in each age group from the pool of sectional competition
champions will advance to the Team Championship, which will be played at a Pittsburgh
Steelers game.
