Student to Present Graduate Piano Recital

Fairmont State University graduate student Rayme Pullen will give her Graduate Piano Recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 17, in Wallman Hall Room 229. Pullen studied piano with Professor John Morrison in School of Fine Arts Department of Music.

For her recital, Pullen will perform “Sonata in D, Kp. 478” by D. Scarlatti (1685-1757), “Papillons, Opus 2” by Schumann (1810-1856), “Ballade in G-Minor, Opus 23” by Chopin (1810-1849) and “Sonata No. 3, Opus 28” by Prokofieff (1891-1953).

A native of West Union in Doddridge County, Pullen graduated from Doddridge County High School in 2008. In 2012, she earned her bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. Currently, she attends Fairmont State University and is working towards a Master of Arts in Teaching degree. She is also a piano instructor with the Academy of Fine Arts as well as a private piano instructor in the Clarksburg/Bridgeport area.
