Frank and Jane Gabor West Virginia Folklife Center to host Herb Workshop April 6
On Thursday, April 6 at 6 p.m. the Frank and Jane Gabor Folklife Center will host Emily Reitz and her workshop “The 10 Herbs You Should Know.” This lecture will be held in the first floor classroom of the Folklife Center at Fairmont State University and it is free and open to all.
Emily Reitz has studied herbs in America and Europe and she is the owner of the Ginger Plantsman. Her lecture focuses on practical information that empowers attendees to start their own herbs from seeds, cultivate herb gardens, and use herbs in their everyday lives. The first 25 attendees will receive a gift to take home with them.
This is the first lecture in the Folklife Center’s 2023-2024 lecture series on do-it-yourself gardening and plant folklore.
