Fairmont State University Town and Gown Theatre to host auditions for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"
Fairmont State University’s Town and Gown Theatre is holding adult, teen, and child auditions for the summer production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat".
Auditions for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, presented by Fairmont State Town and Gown Players, will be held March 19 and 20 from 6:00-9:00 p.m., with callbacks on March 21, for grades nine through adults.
Dance auditions will be held Sunday, March 19, for age nine through 8th grade from 3:00-3:30 p.m. and for 9th grade to adult from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Ages cast for Joseph are nine and above, male and female, with strong singing ability.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, directed by Troy Snyder and choreographed by Kim Bell, will run June 16-18 and June 21-25 in Fairmont State’s Wallman Hall Theatre.
Audition requirements include:
- Song cuts (16-24 bars) of your choosing. You will need 1 ballad and 1 up-tempo, both cut to 16-24 bars and from any musical theatre piece. Please provide sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.
- Please bring an updated headshot photo in color sized 8 1/2x11 or 5x7.
- An updated resume
