An Introduction to NASA IV&V and ITC/JSTAR
The Fairmont State University School of Science and Technology is hosting a general lecture next week featuring Mark Suder, a system engineer from the NASA IV&V Facility in Fairmont.
The lecture will take place on Nov. 14 at 12:30 p.m. in Engineering Technology Building room 305. The event is free and open to the public.
NASA’s IV&V Program has been in existence for over 20 years. In this talk, Suder will share some of the history and information of the Program, including an explanation of Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V).
Suder is currently a member of the Jon McBride Software Testing and Research Laboratory (JSTAR) Independent Test Capability team. He will describe the role of the team and the tools they produce for use within the larger NASA IV&V Program.
