Auditions Set for FSU Production of "The Music Man"
Fairmont State University’s Town and Gown Players are scheduling auditions for a summer production of Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man” to take place at Prickett’s Fort State Park.
Acting and singing auditions will take place from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, April 1 and 2, in Room 229 of Wallman Hall on the Fairmont State campus. An additional evening of auditions has been scheduled for Monday, April 6. Directed by Troy Snyder and Sam Spears, performances will take place on June 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20. (A rain-out performance is scheduled for June 21.)
Those who would like to audition only need to attend one session and should schedule an appointment. It is requested that people wishing to audition contact the FSU School of Fine Arts office for cutting of preselected audition selections. Those who audition also will be asked to read from the script and should bring a headshot and resume. People of all ages are needed for roles.
