FSU to Host Job Fair on Feb. 24
Fairmont State University students, alumni and members of the community interested in employment are invited to attend the annual Job Fair hosted by the Career Development Center.
More than 65 companies and agencies are registered to attend the event. The fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, in the Falcon Center, Gym 1. For those who are not current students, paid parking is available in the parking garage. Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and to be prepared to discuss career opportunities with employers.
“The Job Fair draws a large crowd is a great way to connect with potential new hires,” said Amy Drvar, Acting Director of the Career Development Center. “Fairmont State prides itself on providing its students and graduates with the skills they need to succeed in the workplace.”
The fair will consist of an open forum allowing students and alumni the opportunity to gather career and employment related information from employers, as well as the opportunity to submit their resume for interview consideration.
