Complete Your Business Degree through Evening Classes at the Caperton Center

Jan 26, 2015

Starting in the fall, students who live and work in Harrison County will have the opportunity to complete a four-year degree in Business Administration at the Gaston Caperton Center in Clarksburg by taking evening classes.

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a General Business Concentration will be offered with a new schedule option starting in August 2015--weekday evening classes that begin at 4 or 5:30 p.m. each day--at the Caperton Center, 501 W. Main St., Clarksburg.

“This new schedule for the four-year Business Administration degree at the Gaston Caperton Center has been designed with working adults and high school students in mind,” said Dr. Nancy McClure, Director of the Caperton Center. “Evening classes add ease to scheduling, and our first-class facility located in downtown Clarksburg provides a convenient location with ample parking to start this business degree. With small class sizes, experienced and credentialed faculty and resources students need to succeed, the Caperton Center looks forward to welcoming new students for the fall. It’s not too early to think about applying today.”

The program gives students a fundamental understanding of the substance and context of business in a world that is highly competitive and dynamic. Students are exposed to a diversified background in the various disciplines necessary for achieving success in the business arena.

“The Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in General Business already is a popular program on the main campus in Fairmont, and the School of Business is pleased to expand its offerings in Harrison County and meet the needs of working adults who find evening courses more accessible,” said Dr. Richard Harvey, Dean of the School of Business.
