Saxophone Ensemble Offers April 23 Concert
The Fairmont State University Saxophone Ensemble will perform a concert, directed by Randall Hall, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, in Room 229 of Wallman Hall on the FSU campus.
The performance will feature “The Funeral March of the Marionette” by Charles Gounod. The performance also will include selections such as “Summer Nocturne” by Lennie Niehaus, “Scherzo for Saxophone Quartet” by Warren Baker, “Ye Banks and Braes O’Bonnie Doon” arranged by Lloyd Conley, “Pavane” by Gabriel Faure and “Beale Street Blues” by W.C. Handy.
