FSU and Pierpont Classes at Braxton and Lewis Cancelled July 2; Main Campus Having Difficulty with Incoming Calls

Pierpont Community & Technical College and Fairmont State University classes at the Braxton County Center (Braxton High School location) and the Lewis County Center (Lewis County High School location) are cancelled for July 2, due to the power outage as a result of Friday’s storms.

The FSU and Pierpont shared main campus in Fairmont currently has sporadic service receiving telephone calls from off campus. The Office of Information Technology has been in contact with our service provider, who is working on the problem. Other businesses in the Fairmont area are also experiencing the outage.
