Gift in Honor of Dustin Burdoff to Fund Upgrades for the Falcon Center

Martin A. “Monty” Burdoff met with officials from Fairmont State University and the Fairmont State Foundation, Inc. for the official signing of a donor agreement that will provide funding for renovations and upgrades to the Falcon Center in memory of his son, Dustin Burdoff. 

Dustin Burdoff, a Fairmont State University student who enjoyed spending time in the Falcon Center and had many friends in the campus community, passed away Sept. 4, 2010, and was posthumously awarded degree from the Fairmont State University School of Business during the May 2011 Spring Commencement.

A plaque to be displayed in the Falcon Center reads: “In Honor of Dustin Burdoff: A young man of character, sincerity, and a joyful presence that will be remembered by all he encountered and inspired. A true representative of entrepreneurial spirit.
