Women's Basketball Guide Voted 4th-Best in the Country

Fairmont State's 2010-11 women's basketball media guide was recognized as fourth-best in the country, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced in May.

The guide finished fourth in the College Division which includes entries from NCAA Division II, III, NAIA and junior colleges. Johnson City Community College finished first, Tarleton State was second followed by Carthage.

It is the second national honor for publications received by Fairmont State over the past two years. The 2009 football media guide was judged third-best in the country. (Winners for the 2010 football media guide and 2010-11 men's basketball guide have not yet been released.)

The media guide is written and edited by sports information director Adam Zundell and designed by Print Design and Graphic Specialist, Tammy Holden. Technical design assistance was provided by Kevin Funk and Bob Heffner. Photography was provided by John Piscitelli, Andrew O'Hearn, Sam Santilli and Zundell. Editorial assistance was provided by Philip Fetty, Chris Thomas and Duane Cochran of the Times West Virginian. The book was printed by Fairmont Printing Company in Fairmont.
