Music-O-Rama Event April 30 at Meadowbrook Mall
The Community Music Program of Fairmont State University will present private music students Saturday, April 30, at the Meadowbrook Mall as part of the 18th annual “Music-O-Rama.”
Students who have been taking classes on the Fairmont State University main campus in Fairmont and at the Gaston Caperton Center in Clarksburg will be presenting works for voice, piano, strings, guitar and other instruments. Beginner to advanced performers (ages 5 through high school) will appear from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Sears Court. Admission is free and open to the public.
Classical, Broadway, folk, opera, jazz, rock and sacred music will encompass the day’s events. Various displays will be available for visitors who wish to find out more about music study in Clarksburg and surrounding areas. Faculty from the Community Music Program will be present for consultation throughout the day for those interested in finding out more about private music studies and summer music camp opportunities.
