2010 Strategic Plan Draft Update Now Online

The Fairmont State University Strategic Planning Committee's proposed revisions and updates to the Strategic Plan were premiered to faculty and staff during a presentation by Dr. Rick Harvey, Dean of the School of Business and chair of the committee, on Thursday, May 6.

The presentation was part of the end of the academic year meeting for FSU faculty and staff. The proposed draft update is now posted online at http://www.fairmontstate.edu/redefiningourfuture.

In the fall, there will be an intense but brief community-wide conversation on the plan so it can be finalized. The plan will guide institutional operations, resource allocation and reaccreditation planning.

All faculty and staff are asked to please review the draft Plan over the summer and be prepared to engage in a discussion of our shared values, goals and objectives in the fall. A Strategic Planning e-mail account has been established so you can send comments or suggestions regarding the draft Plan any time to strategicplanning@fairmontstate.edu.
