SEVERAL EVENTS CANCELED DUE TO WINTER STORM

Because of the winter storm, Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College are reporting the following cancellations and postponements:

Today, Feb. 6

• The administration of the ACT exam, scheduled for today, Feb. 6, at FSU has been canceled. The rescheduled test date will be posted at http://www.actstudent.org/. Registered examinees will receive official notification from ACT. This announcement only affects those registered to take the ACT at FSU.
• Pierpont has canceled all Weekend College classes for today, Feb. 6.
• The Solo and Ensemble Festival, scheduled for 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, Feb. 6, in Wallman Hall has been postponed to Saturday, Feb. 13.
• The campus Solution Center is closed today, Feb. 6.

Those attending weekend events at FSU and Pierpont, as well as students and employees, are asked to use good judgment in deciding if they can arrive to campus safely when weather is unfavorable.
