Student Government Hosts Latin Dance Party

Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College Student Government continues its annual tradition of celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month with a Latin Dance Party. This year's event will feature live music from Morgantown-based Sabor Latino, under the direction of Peter Shapiro.

The event is planned for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, in the Turley Center Ballroom. Admission is free and open to the public. Dance partners are not required. For those who would like to sharpen their salsa or merengue dance skills, Bill Duff will provide an hour of dance instruction from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.
