Falcon Center Features New Dining Options

Aug 25, 2008

Major renovations to the second floor "Nickel" area of the Falcon Center over the summer have resulted in new dining options for students returning to the Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College main campus this fall.

Aladdin Food Management Services, LLC, which provides food services to campus, now features two new eating areas: Poblano's, a specialty Mexican concept offering made-to-order burritos, tacos and salads, and Ciabatta's, a specialty sandwich shop featuring gourmet breads, wraps, salads and soups.

The "Nickel" remains open and features an expanded Express Lane "grab and go" area with old favorites such as pizza and hot dogs and new selections such as sushi, California rolls and salads. The Main Street Market convenience store will continue to supply food and snacks along with sundries and sodas. A new Royale Smoothie Bar will serve made-to-order, 100 percent fruit, regular and fortified, smoothie drinks. The third floor Falcon Center Cafeteria continues to serve a variety of meal choices.
