FS to Host State Music Teachers Convention
The 2005 West Virginia Music Teachers Association State Convention will be held at
Fairmont State on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4-5, in Wallman Hall.
Under the direction of Dr. Mary Lynne Bennett, Assistant Professor of Music, the Fairmont
State School of Fine Arts has been selected as the site for the meeting and Royal
American Conservatory Examinations. Featured clinicians and performers will include
Dr. Scott McBride Smith, President RACE/President and CEO: IIYM, and Bennett, among
others.
The WVMTA will hold student competitions, which will be free and open to the public.
