Win Prizes at the Giant Eagle/FS Golf Tournament

Enjoy a day of golf and support Fairmont State athletes at the 13th annual Giant Eagle/Fairmont State Golf Tournament, set for Friday, May 20, at Bridgeport Country Club.

Giant Eagle is the title sponsor of the tournament. Other sponsors are ManTech Enterprise Integration Center, BB&T, Pepsi, R & E Electric, Thrasher Engineering Inc., The Times-West Virginian, United Bank, the WVHTC Foundation and WesBanco Bank of Fairmont.

The tournament is a two-man scramble featuring three flights with first ($300) and second ($200) place prize money in each flight. There is also a $100 prize for closest to the pin and longest drive in each flight.

Those playing in the tournament will also have the opportunity to win door prizes including the following: a set of Cobra golf irons, an autographed Arnold Palmer putter, a round of golf for four at The Greenbrier, four rounds of golf at Canaan Valley Resort, one night's lodging and a round of golf for two at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa, plus numerous gift certificates to local stores and restaurants.

To reserve a space in the tournament, the cost is $175 including golf fees, cart fees, lunch and dinner for one. All participants receive a free Giant Eagle/FS Golf Tournament sweater. Proceeds benefit athletic scholarships at Fairmont State. Checks should be made payable to the Fairmont State Athletic Department.
