 The Fairmont State University Falcon Center offers private and semi-private tennis lessons at the Fairmont State University Tennis Courts. Perfect for anyone learning to play and continuing to improve their skills. Lessons are one-on-one or in pairs instructed by a Fairmont State University tennis instructor lasting 45-60 minutes in duration.

Lessons are for patrons ages 6+ years old.

Everyone must complete the online registration and payment prior to being able to schedule and start their lessons. All registrations are done online via the link below or at the Falcon Center Reception Desk. Additionally, there are instructions to help with creating an account and registering for the first time.

Step 1: Log in or Sign up

• If you have previously created an account that information is still valid and should be used if applicable.
• Please use the “Forgot your password” section if you forgot your username or password.
• If you create a new account, please check your e-mail first to verify your account before trying to log-in.
• If you are not receiving the verification email please check your junk/spam folder.

Step 2: Registering

• From the homepage select "Programs".
• Select "Fall 2023" under semester if not already highlighted.
• Select the package you are wishing to register your child or children for.
• Click "Register" and follow all prompts, completing the required information.
• Proceed to checkout to complete registration and make payment.

Step 3: You'll receive an email within 3-5 business days to schedule your lessons.

• All private and semiprivate tennis lessons are 45-60 minutes in length and are scheduled once or twice per week. Lessons will only be scheduled more than once per week if the instructor has availability to do so.
• All lesson packages must be paid in full prior to your first lesson taking place. Lesson registrations must be done online or at the Falcon Center Reception Desk.
• All tennis lesson packages are prepaid and non-refundable for any unused or missed lessons.
• Cancellation of a lesson must be done 12 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment to be eligible for a rescheduled appointment. Otherwise, the lesson will be considered rendered.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson you should contact your tennis instructor or Alyssa Diacono at Alyssa.Diacono@fairmontstate.edu or (304) 368-7223.
• Any last-minute cancellations or issues after 4:00 pm on the day of your lesson should be directed to (304) 368-7222 asking to speak with the Supervisor on duty.
• Semi-private lessons are for 2 individuals of similar age or similar ability. If the instructor deems that the players are too far apart in age or ability to take lessons together the pair may be asked to be split up for the benefit of both the instructor and the students.
• If one student does not show up for a scheduled semi-private lesson the lesson is still considered rendered for that individual.
• If a student arrives late for a lesson, it may not be rescheduled or extended based on the instructor's availability.
• Inclement weather may cause lessons to become canceled and we will work to reschedule those accordingly and communicate those cancellations as early as possible. Lessons may also be moved indoors if there is availability to do so.
• Please note there may be events/university closures that cause the facility to postpone lessons (i.e holidays, spring break, and Fairmont State University tennis matches). This information will be communicated via email and/or phone as early as possible. Lessons will be rescheduled accordingly in this instance.
• All lessons are required to be finished prior to the finish of the semester
