Community Swim - Five Days A Week!

Join us in the evening Monday through Friday for fun in the water! Everyone in the community is invited to participate in the Community Swim program.

Monday through Friday: 4 - 8 p.m.

Cost 

  • $7.00/person (price is for swimmers & non-swimmers)
  • One adult may only sponsor four children.
  • Children three years old and under are free with proof of age.

Pool Rules

  • Swimming is permitted only when a University lifeguard is on duty.
  • Patrons who repeatedly violate the policies or requests of the staff may be ejected from the facility.
  • Children under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
  • Parent(s)/Guardian(s) must be within arm’s reach of your child if they cannot swim and/or are not using a personal flotation device.
  • It is recommended that all swimmers take a shower before entering the pool.
  • Patrons with open sores, lesions, eye, ear, nose or throat infections may be restricted from swimming at the discretion of the lifeguard
  • Only Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices are allowed in the pool. Noodles, balls, inner tubes, floatable devices or other toys may only be used for recreation and are at the discretion of staff.
  • Children who are not toilet trained must wear swim diapers.
  • Running, rough play, and personal conduct endangering the safety of self or others is prohibited.
  • Organized groups must follow all policies and must be directly supervised at poolside by an adult.
  • Hanging on lane lines/basketball hoop and prolonged underwater swimming or breath holding, is prohibited.
  • The use of swimming accessories that restrict the movement of a swimmers’ legs are allowed/prohibited based on the discretion of the lifeguard.
  • Gum and Band-Aids must be deposited in the trash before entering the water.
  • Glass containers are not permitted in pool area.
  • All injuries should be reported immediately to the lifeguard.
  • Diving is prohibited at all times.
  • Public displays of affection are prohibited.
