The facility is open to EVERYONE. Campus Recreation access is granted via membership. All Fairmont State Students are given membership through Student Activities Fees.

Your Falcon or Community ID Card or you can use the Falcon Center App must be presented with each visit. No ID, No entry.
Appropriate athletic attire is required at all times. This includes wearing a shirt and non-marking soled shoes. No ball caps with metal clasps or clothing with belts, buckles, or chains are permitted. Swimsuits and swim footwear are limited to the aquatics area. Please see the weight room policies and pool policies for more specifics regarding clothing requiements in those areas.

All patrons are required to show their ID Card. Showing proper identification to the Entrance Attendant is the only acceptable method of proving your membership status. Students/Faculty/Staff & members who have lost their ID must get a replacement ID before they can use the facility.
ANYONE! Bring your friends ! Guest passes and multi-visit passes are open to all.
No, lockers are available for daily use and we provide locks for checkout at the reception desk. If using a daily locker, you may bring a lock but it must be taken off by the end of the day. If you are renting a locker we provide combination locks.
There are two types of towels offered in the Falcon Center: smaller hand towels for use in the fitness areas and larger shower towels both are issued at the Reception Desk. Both types of towels are free of charge. All towels must be returned to the Reception Desk prior to leaving the facility.
Space may be reserved in various areas of the facility while keeping in mind that scheduled programs and the availability of drop-in recreation will always take precedence. Please contact the Jennie Rowand at 304-368-4090 for rental space of facilities and to discuss arrangements.
Yes, and all of our basic classes are free to members! Classes are scheduled daily and vary each semseter, please view our fitness class page for the most current schedule. Additionally you can stop by the Reception Desk to see an updated schedule as well as follow us on social media!

A variety of equipment is available for free daily check out with ID card including basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, volleyballs, table tennis paddles, boxing gloves and more!
Food and beverages purchased at the one of the dinning areas must be consumed in those areas. Water and sports drinks in a non-glass bottle with a lid is permitted throughout the recreation facility.
Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, in-line skates or pets are not permitted inside the Falcon Center. Only animals designated as guide/assistant or emotional suppport animals are permitted in the building.
Any request to post signs in the Falcon Center must be directed to the Director for approval based upon content and message. No handwritten signs will be approved. Please have a copy of your produced sign with you when making your request. Signs may not be posted on exterior doors or windows.
Soliciting is not permitted inside the Falcon Center. Organizations wishing to conduct promotional activities must schedule and pay for space by calling the Director of Falcon Center to conduct fundraising or promotional activities.
Approval must be obtained by Director of the Facility. Some groups may be offended by being filmed.
Our pool has a multi-use design incorporating four 25 yard lap lanes, areas for instruction and leisure swimming. Because this is not a competition pool, the water temperature will be a bit warmer, better suiting the variety of users. In addition, the aquatic center features a hot water spa and sauna.
The pool will have hours similar to that of the building itself, but not all areas may be available at all times. Please visit the HOURS webpage for exact hours.
We offer swimming lessons for children ages 6 months - 13 years of age as well as pool parties.
There are no team or individual entry fees for any intramural activities.
