Mid-Week Mindfulness
The Office of Student Health is hosting a mid-week mindfulness group session every
Wednesday from 12 - 1 p.m. This is offered in our new group therapy room in the Office
of Student Health on the 3rd floor of the Falcon Center. This group is open to Fairmont
State University undergraduate students, graduate students, staff, and faculty. The
group is designed to assist students with present moment awareness. Common themes
may include: Navigating academic pressures, procrastination, anxiety, depression,
substance use, self-care, and maintaining healthy relationships with friends, family,
and others. Hope to see you there! Previous engagement in individual and/or group
therapy IS NOT Required – Come as you are.
