Residence Halls Impact

Residence Halls

The tightly-knit community of students who reside on our cozy, friendly campus is an essential part of the college experience at Fairmont State.

In our residence halls, you will grow as a person, learn to live independently, and most importantly, form lifelong bonds and friendships with the other Fairmont State students you share a living space with.

You'll also be close – no more than a ten-minute walk – to all of your classes, school facilities like the library, and the Falcon Center, the hub of campus life and culture.

And, unlike many other universities, incoming Freshmen aren’t relegated to one or two halls – as a first-year student you may choose to live in any of our residence halls (but you’ll want to apply for housing ASAP to have a better chance at getting the residence hall of your dreams).

Universal Amenities

To make the experience of living here as comfortable as possible, all of our campus residence halls have a wide range of features and amenities. Each residence hall offers its own atmosphere and advantages, but as you choose your new home-away-from-home, you can be assured that your preferred building will have all of the comforts described below.
