Regional Math, Science, and Energy Fair

There are three divisions: Elementary (grades 3-5), Middle (grades 6-8), and High School (grades 9-12).

Registration Deadline is February 1st, 2022.

The Final Round of the Fair Will Be Held in the Falcon Center

Qualification to participate in the regional fair will be strictly enforced.

1. Only projects that win their respective divisions of their county or organization fair are permitted to enter the regional fair.  One project in each category, per grade division, per county or approved organization permitted
2. All winners of their respective fairs will submit a video presentation to the fair coordinator at a date to be specified in the near future.  Presentation parameters will also be released at that time.
3. The top 5 presentations in each respective division and category of the county or organization fair are permitted to enter the regional fair

It is very important that students select the appropriate category for their projects. The projects must be in one of the following areas:

Science Fair Guides, categories, requirements, and forms are specific to programmatic levels.  The Science Fair Guides listed below contain documents and links to resources that meet the needs of most participants.   Depending on the programmatic level and the topic chosen by the students, additional forms and guidance may be needed from the ISEF Guidelines for Science and Engineering Fairs 2021-2022 document.

We do not allow any animals or cultures to be a part of the project display.  If your research plans to use human participants, vertebrate animals, potentially hazardous biological agents, or hazardous chemicals, activities, devices, please visit INTEL ISEF rules site to determine if you need to submit additional forms or receive approval of your research by our review committee before beginning research.    

Projects may be individual or team.  The judges are looking for creative ability, scientific thought/engineering goals, thoroughness, skill, and clarity. For more information on judging criteria, please follow the link listed above.
