Fairmont State University representatives will travel to Charleston on Friday, January 14 to highlight the University’s offerings at the West Virginia State Capitol during Fairmont State Day at the Legislature.
Students, faculty and staff will be available at the Capitol to discuss Fairmont State programs and other opportunities made available to students with legislators and members of the state executive branch. The Student Government Association in addition to representatives from Recruitment and Admissions, the Fairmont State Alumni Association, among others will be in attendance.
“Fairmont State Day at the Legislature is a such a great opportunity for our community to share the transformative opportunities we continue to provide to the constituents of these elected officials,” said Fairmont State University President, Mirta M. Martin. “And we understand that we could not provide these opportunities without the steadfast support of the Legislature. We are true partners in educating a skilled workforce, and the next generation of citizen leaders. And that benefits all West Virginians.”
