Brass Academy Offers Three Concerts
The 2005 West Virginia Brass Academy in residence at Fairmont State this week announces
three free concerts.
The concerts, which are open to the public, all take place at 7:30 p.m. in Room 229
of Wallman Hall. The Ohio Brass Quintet will perform today, June 20. John Schooley
(tuba) and Trudi Mason (trumpet) will present a faculty recital with guest artist
Matthew Murchison (Euphonium, RCBB) and his Pittsburgh trio "Mainspring" on Tuesday,
June 21. The Appalachian Brass Quintet will perform Wednesday, June 22.
