America Reads Students Receive T-shirts
Kappa Delta Pi, Fairmont State's education honorary, presented 85 T-shirts to the
America/Fairmont State Reads students at East Park Elementary and Blackshere Elementary.
The T-shirts are a result of the honorary society's annual fund-raiser chaired by
FS elementary education major Heather Yoho under the direction of the group's advisor,
Dr. Gwen Jones.
The T-shirts which read, "Read to Succeed! America Reads, Fairmont State University,
2005," were presented at the final America Reads sessions of the spring term.
"America Reads wishes to thank all of the Fairmont State students involved in the
successful project," said Donna Yergovich Nuzum, Director Community Service Learning
and Coordinator for America Reads.
