Falcon Marching Band announces free stadium review concert
The Fairmont State University Falcon Marching Band will present its annual Stadium Review Concert in Colebank Hall on the main campus of Fairmont State on Friday, November 9, at 7:30p.m. The concert will feature selections from our 2018 halftime show (West Side Story), pregame show, and stands music repertoire. The concert is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
The Stadium Review Concert is a great opportunity for the community to support the spirit and pride of Fairmont State.
"The band has been working hard all season and sounds better and better each week. The students are excited about performing in an indoor setting, where acoustics will add to their already big sound. Selections will include the Star-Spangled Banner, music from 'West Side Story', and some of the students' favorite stands tunes. All are welcome,” said Greg Mulzet, Assistant Professor of Music and Director of University Bands.
This is great opportunity for the future and current students to also gain an understanding of the effort and enthusiasm that goes into each performance.
“If you missed the football games—or even if you didn’t—come and enjoy the music of the Marching Band’s show in a concert setting. It’s always a lot of fun—very energizing,”said Dr. Anne Patterson, Dean of the School of Fine Arts at Fairmont State. Experience great music and entertainment that can be enjoyed by the entire family.
