A Noteworthy Performance

The Fairmont State University Department of Music is excited to host an evening of pleasant music and sweet desserts. “A Noteworthy Performance” will take place on Thursday, October 18th, at 7:30p.m. at Noteworthy Sweets located at 91 Fairmont Avenue in Fairmont WV. The live performance is free and open to the public. 

The Department of Music presents concerts at Noteworthy Sweets a couple times a year as a way to give back to the community. “These concerts are a great opportunity for people to enjoy both good music and tasty desserts,” said concert organizer and Fairmont State Associate Professor of Music, Dr. Sam Spears.  The program will feature performances by students from the Department of Music and the Academy for the Arts.  The Fairmont State University Chamber Choir will also perform a set of music that will include Renaissance madrigals, international folk music, and a spiritual. There is something for everyone at “A Noteworthy Performance.”
