Campus Police searching for a person-of-interest in motor vehicle theft

Fairmont State University’s Campus Police Department is considering Jeremy Allen White a person-of-interest in a recent string of thefts on campus. 

The first motor vehicle theft occurred in the afternoon of August 21. The vehicle, which has now been recovered, was a white GMC Sierra pick-up truck.

At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 29, the Campus Police Department was notified of a second motor vehicle theft. The vehicle is tan in color, 1998 Plymouth Breeze with a West Virginia registration number of O3F928. The vehicle was last seen exiting the top level of the Parking Garage around 10:19 p.m. on August 28. The vehicle has a burnt-out registration light as -well-as a white Fairmont State University parking sticker in the rear window.
