FSU Board of Governors Conducts President's Annual Performance Evaluation
As required by state statute, the Fairmont State University Board of Governors conducted the annual performance evaluation for the FSU President during its meeting on Friday, June 26.
The Board was unanimous in its praise and appreciation for the work over the past year of Dr. Maria Rose, FSU President, who has served in that position since May 3, 2012.
“The Fairmont State University Board of Governors appreciates what Dr. Maria Rose has accomplished over the past year, as well as her positive and proven leadership,” said Ron Tucker, Chairman of the Board of Governors.
“President Rose continues to help further Fairmont State’s mission of providing opportunities for individuals to achieve their professional and personal goals and discover roles for responsible citizenship that promote the common good. She goes above and beyond every day to ensure that FSU is a place that provides the best educational experience for all students. The Fairmont State University Board of Governors looks forward to continuing to work with President Rose in the years to come.”
