"It's a Wonderful Life" Performances Planned for Clarksburg and Grafton

The Fairmont State University School of Fine Arts offers a gift to Fairmont with a performance of “It’s A Wonderful Life.” Based on the classic holiday film starring Jimmy Stewart, director Troy Snyder has adapted the screenplay for Readers’ Theatre.

The Town & Gown production runs Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5 and 6, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. in the Wallman Hall Theatre. A maximum of six free tickets may be obtained by calling the box office at (304) 367-4240. Donations will be accepted to benefit the Fairmont State Student Food Bank, The Nest.

The FSU production is directed by Troy Snyder. The cast includes Francene Kirk, John Fallon, Brandon Lee, Jim Matthews, Jocelyn Maxwell, Maggie Maxwell, Alex Myers, Stephen Phillips, Gretchen Ross and Billy Tobin.

Additional free performances of “It’s A Wonderful Life”are scheduled for Friday, Dec. 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the Gaston Caperton Center in Clarksburg, and Sunday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. at the Grafton Historic Society M&M Bank Building in Grafton.
