Auditions Planned for Production of "It's a Wonderful Life"
Fairmont State University’s Town and Gown Theatre is scheduling auditions for a reader’s theatre production of “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
Auditions will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 10 and 11, in Wallman Hall on the Fairmont State campus. The production will be performed on Dec. 5 through 14 on the FSU campus and other venues in the area.
The show is based on Frank Capra’s 1947 classic holiday film of the same name. There are roles available for four or five men and two or three women, each of whom will play several parts throughout the production. Auditioners will be asked to read several parts and will be cast based on the ability to create many different characters based on physical and vocal variety.
To sign up for an audition appointment, call (304) 367-4219. For more information, e-mail the director, Troy Snyder, at troy.snyder@fairmontstate.edu.
