To allow for additional time for snow removal and to ensure the safety of our employees, the University (all campuses) will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

Tomorrow (1/7/25), campus recreation will be closed. The dining hall will be open for continental breakfast from 10 - 11 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m.  - 1 p.m., and dinner from 5 - 6 p.m. 

In addition to essential employees, some others may have tasks that require them to work remotely. Contact your supervisor with any questions and monitor email as necessary.  

Additional weather updates will be communicated through our emergency alert system, social media, and the University website.

Reception to Welcome International Students on Aug. 22

The Office of International Student Services of Fairmont State University will host a Welcome Reception for International Students on Thursday, Aug. 22.

The event will take place from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Falcon Center third floor conference rooms. Admission is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
