Updated Alumni Information Needed for Directory Project

The Fairmont State Alumni Association is partnering with Harris Connect to update alumni information and produce a new alumni directory.

“The directory project is critical to the Alumni Association as we want to be able to stay connected to all of our alumni and offer opportunities to stay engaged with Fairmont State University,” said Emily Swain, Director of Alumni Relations. “In addition to our social media outlets and other outreach, this directory will provide a useful tool for building connections.”

Beginning Sept. 2, representatives from Harris Connect will begin making telephone calls to alumni to update their records. The last day to update alumni records will be Oct. 28.

“The directory will provide alumni with comprehensive contact information for other FSU alumni. It is a great way to seek out alumni living in your area and will facilitate your ability to make connections, whether it’s to catch up or to network professionally,” Swain said.

The directory will be available for purchase in the format of a hardback keepsake book or as a CD for $99.99 or as a paperback book for $79.99. Reunion CDs, which include only information from the alumnus or alumna’s class year and two years before and after the class year, will be available for $24.99.  Shipping and handling costs also will be charged. The publication will be mailed on Jan. 20, 2014.
