Alumni Association Awards First Lifetime Achievement Award

May 20, 2013

Frank Pulice, Jr. was presented with the first Fairmont State Alumni Association Lifetime Achievement Award on Saturday, May 11. The award was created to show appreciation for alumni who have dedicated years of service to the association and to the institution.

“Frank Pulice, Jr. has achieved great personal and professional success. As a philanthropist and community volunteer, he truly has made a difference. Mr. Pulice’s life exemplifies the type of achievement, leadership and service we wish for all Fairmont State alumni,” said FSU President Maria Rose.

Pulice has been a longtime supporter of Fairmont State, having served as the Director of Food Services for Fairmont State for many years. As a charter member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, Pulice was the chapter advisor for 26 years. He is also an active member of the Fairmont State Alumni Association Board of Directors, where he serves as the chair of the Nominating Committee.

“Frank is so deserving of this award. He rarely misses our monthly meetings and makes an effort to attend each alumni event we host. I am so thankful for all he's done for our organization and am proud to call him a friend. He's a strong leader and a wonderful ambassador for Fairmont State and the Alumni Association,” said Alumni Director Emily Swain.
