Fairmont State University officials honored BrickStreet Mutual Insurance Company for a gift that made possible the purchase of the new high technology scoreboard at Duvall-Rosier Field.
During half-time of the Fighting Falcons football game on Nov. 3, FSU officials recognized BrickStreet President and CEO Greg Burton and his wife Kim and BrickStreet Special Projects Consultant Skip Tarasuk with crystal awards and FSU logo jackets to officially dedicate the new scoreboard and to commemorate BrickStreet’s support of FSU Athletics.

At the beginning of this football season, fans of the Fighting Falcons were greeted by a new scoreboard at Duvall-Rosier Field which has enhanced the excitement and energy of game day.
The new scoreboard features state-of-the-art graphics with playback capabilities, including instant and slow-motion replay. The video screen offers the opportunity for University to highlight other FSU activities. The former scoreboard was over 25 years old.
The additional cameras and scoreboard video feed make possible high quality streaming video of games. The video display will allow for posting animation and graphics. In the future, sponsors will be able to purchase commercials between quarters and at half-time.
The scoreboard can be easily reconfigured for other sports such as soccer or rugby and offers custom captions for times when the field may be used by public schools or for community events.
