Rescheduled: Volleyball Coach Hill to be Honored for 600th Win

UPDATE (10/29/2012): Fairmont State University Athletic Department: We are canceling the celebration for Larry Hill for tonight, and tentatively will reschedule for next Monday, November 5 – same time, same place.  The game is also cancelled.  The game will now be held next Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Joe Retton Arena.

Fairmont State University Head Volleyball Coach Larry Hill will be recognized for a milestone in his 29-year career of guiding the Falcons on Monday, Oct. 29, at Joe Retton Arena at the Feaster Center.

Hill will be honored before the volleyball team takes on Glenville State College at 7 p.m. Those who would like to be present for the recognition for Hill should arrive at about 6:45 p.m.

FSU’s 3-2 victory over West Virginia State on Oct. 19 was No. 600 for Hill, who became only the 14th coach in NCAA Division II history to reach the 600-win mark. He currently ranks eighth in victories among active coaches.
