Students Can Submit Entries to Name Your Bookstore Contest
Students have the opportunity to enter a contest to help name the bookstore on the shared main campus of Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College. The contest is sponsored by the Bookstore Advisory Board, Student Government and the Campus Bookstore.
Name Your Bookstore Contest Official Rules
Entry: To enter, please visit FSU's and Pierpont’s campus bookstore and fill out a contest entry or send your submission to ckelly5@students.fairmontstate.edu including your name, telephone number, school e-mail address and UCA, along with your suggested bookstore name.
Eligibility: Suggestions must not violate state and campus policies. Entries must be representative of both Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College. The winning entry will be subject to the approval of the presidents of FSU and Pierpont. Participants must be current students enrolled in FSU or Pierpont and taking a minimum of 9 credit hours. The contest is not open to current Student Government members; however, if no entry is accepted as the winner by FSU Interim President Maria Rose and Pierpont President Doreen Larson, Student Government will be responsible for naming the bookstore.
Award: $250 in total prizes, split between three top entries. 1St - $150, 2nd - $75, 3rd - $25 provided in the form of a Bookstore gift card.
