Taken from the original Broadway production directed and produced by Harold Prince, this production is based on the play by John Van Druten and the“Berlin Stories of Christopher Isherwood, with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb.

Berlin, 1931, a city where anything goes, and everything is available, where the byword is "decadence" and the theme is “lurid.” In a seedy cabaret, the Master of Ceremonies, a bizarre character of ambiguous gender, greets the audience with an exaggerated flourish against a sinister backdrop of brown-shirted thugs in black leather boots and swastika armbands, waiting in the shadows, slapping their saps, biding their time.

Meanwhile, some miles outside Berlin, an impoverished American novelist, Clifford Bradshaw, stares from the window of a train as he approaches the city, wondering what he will find and if the fates will be kind. Soon he will become entangled with a 19-year-old English cabaret singer named Sally Bowles, of unrestrained manners and morals, who will ransack his heart and more or less wreck his life.

So stuff a stash of cash in your shoe, strap a luger to your ankle and come on down to the cabaret, old chum. When Doom & Disaster are at hand, a little Glitter is just the ticket.

The cast includes the following: Rennes Carbaugh as Clifford Bradshaw; Ray Mainenti as Ernst Ludwig; Tyler Kovar as the Master of Ceremonies; Cecily Collins as Sally Bowles; Francene Kirk as Fraulein Schneider; John Fallon as Herr Schultz; Hannah Weakley as Fraulein Kost; Sasha Bohon, Sami Dull, Madison Whiting, Elisha Nestor, Cate Smith, Loralee Simpson and Jamie Clegg as the Kit Kat Girls; Jeremiah Ripley, Jameson Shaffer, Tyler Kovar, Kaleb Straley, Jay Lindsay and Brady Dunn as the Kit Kat Boys; Stephen Phillips, Rob Sundin, Allen Ludwick, Brandon Rose, Steve McElroy, John Piscitelli, Shannon Yost, Chrissy Smith and Ashley Spedding as Club Patrons/Party Guests; Stephen Phillips as Customs Officer; Stephen Phillips, Rob Sundin and Allen Ludwick as German Sailors/Nazi Thugs; Brandon Rose as Max; Jeremiah Ripley as Dancing Gorilla; and John Piscitelli as Taxi Man.
