International Welcome Reception Today at 12:30 p.m.

The community is invited to attend an International Welcome Reception from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, on the shared main campus of Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College.

The Office of Student Affairs and the International Education Committee are sponsoring the event, which is intended to welcome new and returning international students, faculty and staff. Light refreshments will be served. The event will take place on the lawn in front of the Falcon Center.

Dr. Tom Krepel, FSU President, and Dr. Doreen Larson, Pierpont President, will give remarks, along with Geneva Hines, International Advisor and Director of ESL Programs; Dr. Tad Kato, International Programming Coordinator and faculty advisor to the International Student Organization; and Dr. Erin Hippolyte, Study Abroad Coordinator and liaison with the Faculty Senate International Education Committee.
