Governor Patrick Morrisey has issued a proclamation declaring a full-day holiday on Thursday July 3, 2025, for public employees in addition to the July 4 holiday. Fairmont State University will re-open on Monday, July 7 and will be back to the summer compressed schedule of 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Friday.

Music Educators to Host Alumni Recital & Dinner

The Fairmont State University Collegiate Chapter of Music Educators National Conference will host an Alumni Recital at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 17, in the Turley Center Ballroom on the main FSU campus. 

Admission to the recital is free and open to the public. The recital will be followed by a spaghetti dinner to help the chapter raise funds to attend music education conferences and hold programs for guest artists on campus.
