Two Members Appointed to FSU Board of Governors
Fairmont State University received a letter from the office of Gov. Joe Manchin III on Monday, Dec. 7, stating that the governor has made two appointments to the FSU Board of Governors.
Jack Robert "Bob" White of Fairmont has been appointed to succeed Andy Kniceley, who resigned. White will fill Kniceley's unexpired term, which ends June 30, 2013.
Bryan Towns of Fairmont has been appointed to succeed Robert Kittle, who could not be reappointed because of term limitations. Towns' term will end June 30, 2013.
"I thank both Andy Kniceley and Robert Kittle for their service to this institution and wish them well in their future endeavors," said FSU President Thomas L. Krepel, Ph.D. "We will be working with the new board members to provide them with the training and information they will need to assist the other board members with their responsibilities as this institution's Board of Governors."
