Two Debaters Place at Nationals

Two debaters from the Fairmont State University Intercollegiate Debate Team recently took top honors in the Lincoln Douglas Open National Championships.

Kelly Edmond of Morgantown advanced to the final round of the novice division and placed second. Allison Gasti of Morgantown placed third in the novice division. The tournament was held on the campus of Drury University in Springfield, Mo. Student debaters from universities throughout the country competed.
