Job & Career Fair Set for Feb. 20

Feb 11, 2008

Fairmont State University students, alumni and members of the community interested in employment are invited to attend the annual Job & Career Fair hosted by the Office of Career Services.

More than 100 companies and agencies are registered to attend the event. The fair will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 20, in the Falcon Center, Gym 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For those who are not current students, parking is available in the parking garage at a cost of $2.

"The fair provides students, alumni and others the opportunity to network with employers representing a wide variety of areas," said Sally Fry, Director of Student Development. "Freshmen through alumni are encouraged to attend the fair to learn more about current and future employment opportunities as well as internship opportunities."

The fair will consist of an open forum allowing students and alumni the opportunity to gather career and employment related information from employers, as well as the opportunity to submit their resume for interview consideration.
