Spring semester registration for private and class music instruction with the Fairmont State University Community Music Program will be held Saturday, Jan. 12, from 10 a.m. to noon in Room 304 of Wallman Hall on the main campus.

Classes are held at the main campus and at the Gaston Caperton Center in Clarksburg. For more information or to register by mail, call Director Anne Schooley at (304) 366-3758 or e-mail her at anschooley@mteer.com. All new students should register by Saturday, Jan. 26.

Music lessons are held weekly for 13 weeks. Students may register to study private piano, voice, guitar, strings, woodwinds and percussion. Piano class instruction is available, in addition to private piano instruction, for those ages 6 to 8 who have not had previous piano experience.

Levels of instruction offered range from beginner to advanced, for ages 5 through adult. All teachers have degrees in teaching specializing in their area of expertise.
