NASA Space Grant Scholars Named
Fairmont State University's third group of NASA Space Grant Scholars toured Armstrong
Air Space Museum in Wapakoneta, Ohio, as part of their experience in the program that
provides students with a variety of research opportunities.
Their trip also included visits to the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, the
Glenn Research Center's Plumbrook Station in Sandusky and the National Museum of the
U.S. Air Force at Dayton. On their return to campus, the NASA Space Grant Scholars
gave a presentation to the Fairmont Rotary Club in order to share their experiences
with the community. Dr. Roger Wilson, Assistant Professor of Information Systems and
NASA Space Grant Scholars Advisor, said this helps let the community know what NASA
is all about.
NASA West Virginia Space Grant Consortium Director Dr. Majid Jaraiedi and NASA
West Virginia Space Grant Consortium Assistant Director Candy Cordwell attended the
presentation.
The group of NASA Space Grant Scholars was comprised of students Brianne Setlak,
Gail Weber, Joe Longwell, Tom Stevens and Zac White.
