Masquers to Trick-or-Treat for Food Donations
Halloween and Thanksgiving are just around the corner, and local food pantries are
running in short supply. Hunger is a truly scary thing for some area families, and
the Fairmont State University Masquers theatre group would like your help.
Watch your doors the weekend of Oct. 26 for some ghoulish characters trick-or-treating
a little early for canned, boxed, pre-packaged and dehydrated food items. Please do
not give perishable items. All donations will be distributed locally.
The more food you donate, the more chances you will have to win free tickets to the
Masquers' and Town and Gown's devilishly delightful season which includes the musical
hit Once Upon a Mattress. This comedy opens Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. and will run through
Nov. 18 and will continue Nov. 29 through Dec. 1. Or treat the kids to Masquers production
of Wiley and the Hairy Man.
